Initial Conversation
Initial Conversation
Free
A short chat takes around 10 minutes by phone or Zoom. We can discuss your health concern, any initial questions and how the first consultation might help you. Signposting to other organisations can be offered if appropriate.
First consultation
£50 plus herbal medicine and postage
A first consultation lasts 1 hour and tends to be in-person. This allows time to discuss your health concerns and have conversations about your requirements. We can confirm the form of medicine and guidance you would like, being mindful of your budget. Following our meeting your personalised herbal medicine will be created, and nutritional guidance or further resources can be provided, based on your preferences.
Follow up consultation
£35 plus herbal medicine and postage
A follow up consultation lasts 20 to 40 minutes and can be in-person or online. This is an opportunity for a supportive check-in together, to explore your wellbeing and concerns in more depth, any changes to symptoms and so forth. These conversations and feedback can help with tailoring and tweaking herbal medicine and other guidance so the offer is most appropriate for you.
Repeat prescriptions
£5 dispensing fee
and postage
This is the cost if you would like a repeat of a previous herbal medicine prescription. It may be that a short chat of around 5 minutes is needed as a safety check, for example if you had medication or symptom changes.
Consultation discount
If you would like to book a first consultation plus two follow up consultations together, offering three months of continued support, I offer a discount of £20. Herbal medicine is priced separately below, and can be agreed and paid for after each consultation.

On booking a consultation I send further information on the forms of plant medicine offered, how these are commonly taken, and pros and cons of each, so you can consider the options which will work best for you and your lifestyle.
Whole plant medicine
Using whole plant medicine is one of Flower & Root’s core values, and mainly organic or sustainably wild-crafted plants and herbs are used. Many items are grown and harvested in the UK with the aim of supporting local growers and farmers. Carefully processed herbs, extracts and powders are sourced from reputable suppliers and manufacturers who are able to provide assurance of sustainable cultivation and harvesting, plus traceability though the supply chain. Extracts have been made using the whole part of the plant, meaning the plant’s constituent profile has not been synthetically altered or recreated. Traditional slow extraction methods are favoured, and traditional extraction mediums such as water, oil, alcohol, vinegar and honey are used.
